:) You're right, it certainly would. When I tried to install Mplayer
having downloaded it, I ended up with a lot of dependency problems.
Would be a lot easier to fix if I could use apt or synaptic. Trouble
is, at present, the box I have Ubuntu on has no net access - I'm on
dialup (the joys of rural living...) and I've not yet got the Winmodem
fitted to the T23 running under Ubuntu. Hopefully soon...
