Antivirus Software

Another thing - you say you would like it to protect against windows
viruses too, by this do you ean that the linux box would be used as a
mail server and you want it to screen emails going to windows users,
or is the box to be used as a desktop computer? if it is then why
would it need to protect against windows viruses???  which by the way
- I imagine all would anyway, just in case you receive an infected
email and then forward it to a windows user.

Another point i forgot to mention - the F-Prot linux AV is free for
personal use so all good there. I have no idea though what it is like
and how easy it is to install / use as ive never used it.
