Rhythmbox frustration !!!

You should attempt to file these as wishlist bugs for rhythmbox, so the
developers can see that there's a wanted feature. But remember to be
constructive and check if similar bugs have been created before.
You can find the rhythmbox bugzilla at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/. The
procedure to file them should be pretty straight forward.
