OpenOffice don't load encasuplated post-script files made with inkscape

I don't know if it is a bug or not. Any time I try to insert an .eps
image into a OpenOffice text document, it just doesn't work. OpenOffice
does not pop up an error windows, it just does nothing.
I have tried to add the directory where I have the images as a new
gallery, but it doesn't work either.
Have you had the same problem?
Oh, by the way, .eps files made with Inkscape are not the problem, as
they are smoothly inserted into a TeX document.
