AH! you are my hero! I do get sound, but since the latest hoary 
dist-upgrade, I can't seem to use 3d, so I'll definitely have to fix 
that soon :) You just can't play quake2 in software mode ;)

Now if anyone knows of a deb package for quake1... :D
