USB cordless mouse not working

Hi there.

I just got an USB optical wireless mouse, but I couldn't make it work.
I've searched google about running an USB mouse on Linux 2.6, but
everything seems right, except that the mouse still doesn't work.

The following modules are loaded:
usbmouse
usbhid
usbcore

And everything I read says to load usbhid and point the device to
/dev/input/mice. XFree is pointing to it and even doing cat on
/dev/input/mice, /dev/input/mouse0 and /dev/input/mouse1, I get no
results.

Any ideas? I've run out of them...

BTW, I'm running Warty.
