Hoary python 2.4

It requires python LESS than 2.4, but after the latest dist-upgrade,
python 2.4 is installed. I have both 2.4 and 2.3, but it still tells
me that it won't work. I was actually about to post this question
myself.

The same thing happens with printconf, by the way
