Hello, I'm new to Ubuntu which I already like, I'm still experimenting
with several configuration desires, I'll write more about single problems.
I have to say that this mailing list rocks, it is the best place I have found
so far for all the informations about Ubuntu (and more)!
I just started so I needed to browse previous month threads, that's why my
"reply" are a bit off. (It would be great a searchable archive...!)

I'm taking the opportunity in replying to this message to thank everyone
who is working on Ubuntu and to help to use it. Moreover I found extremely
interesting to see many questions about installing it on older PCs that
is exactly my intent. Infact I'm trying to come up with a pleasant, stable,
etc... Linux desktop for underveloped world!
By the way, I travelled to Cuba, I red alot about it, I have tryed to start
some programs there, I wouldn't say it is a champion of democracy but
to me it is a struggling undeveloped country (with a special flavor)
and my mission is to help any of them with FLOSS!

Ciao,

Gio
