No Gaim Sounds with Rhythmbox playing.

Which 3 apps are you running at the same time which all give you
sound? If I'm running XMMS (BMP actually--nicer interface for Gnome),
then I don't get any system sounds, no sound from GAIM, etc. MPlayer
will tell me that the /dev/dsp device is busy (and will play video but
without any sound). If you've found a way to play video with sound
without killing your audio app, I'd be interested to know. Thanks.
