There was a menu breakage during these days, but it should be fixed by now (or
get fixed soon). Today I can access my home folder again.

Well, using the unstable branch keeps your life full of surprises ;-)
Seriously, please elaborate and explain what features you are missing -- I'm
sure there are alternatives.

With Synaptic, you can use "Force version" to install an older version of one
or more packages. Kepp in mind that downgrading more than few packages *is* a
messy operation. See the warnings in
