Not able to install ubuntu

One way would be to go to Manually Edit Partition Table in the setup
routine, then delete the existing linux partitions, then point the
partitioner at the free space and "Automatically Partition The Free
Space" should be one of the options. This will then setup a new swap and
root partition for you.
