Ubuntu or Kernel problem.

There have been a lot of issues with ps/2 KVM switching from windows to
linux and causing the mouse to not function correctly. I have seen this
with Ubuntu and Archlinux, those are the two I use so I don't know about
others, and in both cases a USB KVM solved the problem. I also know of
one instance where a switch to a powered KVM solved the problem. I have
also heard that it works with some linux setups and not with others.
Some people say that switching to tty2 and then back to X will fix the
problem.
I would say use a USB kvm and you won't have any problems, but I
understand that you might not want to buy a new one so maybe someone
else has a different solution.
