Ubuntu or Kernel problem.

I have recently hooked my computer up to a KVM along with a Windows 
computer.  I have a wireless mouse that is USB, I have a USB->ps2 to 
connect the reciever to the KVM.  The problem I have is when I am using 
Linux and switch to windows, everything works fine.  However when I 
switch back to Linux the mouse stops working right.  Every mouse 
movement bounces the mouse around the screen and sends button clicks 
randomly.  I am wondering if X is broken, Ubuntu is broken, or if this a 
kernel driver issue.  I never get the problem when switching into Windows.
