Problems resolving internet addresses

Did not work, problem with long delay still exists (but slightly 
better). Downloaded the current prebuilt version from 
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ and now it works fine. I'm 
still curious why this doesn't work with the Ubuntu version...

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion...
