Audigy LS and Ubuntu

Heh, thanks. I was sort of afraid of that. So, time to head over to 
kernel.org then. I'm correct in assuming the kernel source goes in 
</usr/src/linux>, right?

I shall do some research on patching; I have a feeling I might need to 
come crying for help once I break my system, but I'm not giving up on 
this. That Audigy is going to play me lovely sounds if it's the last 
thing that ever happens.
