Except perhaps an impetus to transition :-)
Issues like OpenFirmware actually do and will affect the Intel community
because alternative BIOSes that implement OF might gain some ground.
Generally though, we have our own PPC bubble and it's nice to live in it
- - I'm considering doing some embedded work with Ubuntu on ppc too.
| however (IMHO) I don't think that now is the time.
There's a lot of list traffic, not much ppc yet, but it wouldn't hurt.
Something worth considering though.
