Would Ubuntu be the first distro to support Pocket PC devices out of the box?

I thought I read somewhere (the wiki maybe) that Ubuntu might use
multisync as default, instead of the current program that only syncs
palm os. If the synce plugin is already installed and preconfigured
with that, or at least a simple apt-get install or a few synaptic
clicks away, I think a lot of pocketpc nerds would support Ubuntu. I
know this probably would be difficult for the amd64 version, since
apparently neither multisync or synce support the architecture at all,
but I know I would love it. :)
