Seems like an assumption that lurkers will emerge in a smaller,
friendlier group.
I think this is worth considering.
However, I think it's doubtful - this LoCo and the LUGs I have
experienced are already small (even huge Milwaukee) and friendly and
open. If somebody lurks here and there, they seem to me likely to lurk
everywhere else...until something they care about comes along.
