I’m Mark and I live between River Falls and Ellsworth. I would be interested
to find out how many people actually follow this list. You are right, it
seems there is not much activity. Apparently every one is running Ubuntu
without any problems.



I have been using Linux for over 10 years and still don’t know anything. I
was, kind of, looking for people locally that could help me along. I started
with RedHat 7 and switched to SuSe 10 when it came out. I have one box with
SuSe 11 and another with Ubuntu 9.04. I am trying to add Mythbuntu, but am
not having much luck. The switch to all Digital OTA is not helping me.



As far as activities go, I would think that travelling distances may cause a
problem. It is nice to know that at least two people in Wisconsin use Linux.

Hello people of Wisconsin LoCo.  I am not seeing much activity lately, I
was wondering if anyone would be interesting in getting this a jump-
start and start some things going.  Let me know if you have any ideas
(ex: Karmic Koala release parties, etc) or things happening.  Perhaps we
could set up a meeting to discuss things and get this LoCo off the
ground.
