Rambutan - Thanks for the info about the Location thread on the forum.
There was actually life in the forums (About three weeks ago) and the thread
is http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=464608 for anyone else that'd
like to share their location. I think a Facebook group is a good idea,
however I am ditching my Facebook account shortly (Friday, Sept. 25) for
various reasons (http://bit.ly/bzlbE). I regularly hang out on IRC in
various channels (h00k on freenode).
