The Ubuntu hour is based on a few simple principles:

   - You live or work nearby a place with Internet access where you can go
for 1 hr. every week or every other week, you decide
   - You wear something with the Ubuntu logo or have an Ubuntu sticker on
your laptop (if you bring a laptop)
   -

When/if you show up, you agree to the Ubuntu Code of
Conduct<http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct>
   - Anyone can start an Ubuntu Hour, anywhere, anytime.

In the spirit of keeping things as simple as possible, just add your Ubuntu
Hour location (address+city), day of week + hour, and your name.

Remember kids, stay safe offline - meet in a public place and take a friend
(who you can also convert to Ubuntu)

I'll be headed to a local coffee shop with my netbook running Ubuntu Karmic
Netbook Remix, and Brittany will have her laptop running Karmic as well. If
there is anyone else in the area that would like to join, please let me
know.  Also, it'd be neat to get a few of these going throughout the state;
I know that we have people from all over the place. Would anyone else be
interested?

A few tips to remember

   1. Check with the local venue to make sure it's okay
   2. Consider keeping a few LiveCD's and a flyer or some information on
   hand
   3. Sit in a place where your screen will be visible to other people, use
flashy things like wobbly windows or the desktop cube to catch their eye
   4. Document! Let us know if you've talked to anyone, what is popular,
   tips and tricks, etc.

Let's get something started!
