It is that time again! Our next meeting is scheduled for this upcoming
Saturday (at UofU) and Tue (BillGood Marketing). The topic will be
local system security, with hands-on demonstrations.

For the past few weeks I have been studying and hardening my system
for local (un)trusted user accounts. Some of you may have recently
seen emails regarding "please break my system". Well, that is what the
meeting will be about.

I invite anyone interested to come to the meeting, bring a laptop, and
try to break my system in any way that you can. I will be running
some basic services, so dos attacks are applicable as well.

I think this will be a great way for everyone to try those attacks
they've heard of, but never had the guts to actually try. It'll be a
great way to learn about other attacks, and most importantly, how to
defend against each of these.

If you're interested in security and want to have a hands-on
lets-break-stuff-in-a-lab experience, be sure to show up!
