CP/M, I wrote a checkbook program on it and then used it for text games
thereafter.

2. What was the processor, speed, and amount of RAM of your first home PC?

DEC Rainbow 100  http://www.columbia.edu/acis/history/rainbow.html
Z80 processor (8080), unsure of the amount of RAM, but I'm thinking 32k??

3. What was the first computer you ever sat in front of (think back to
elementary school)?

Apple ][e

4. What was the first Linux distribution and version you installed by
yourself?

Red Hat 5
