Usplash Boot image?

Hello all,

Pretty new to the mailing list, but i thought i would ask a question 
about a usplash image that ive had ever since i upgraded from dapper to 
edgy. Ive been told that it was a placeholder until the edgy usplash was 
finished but it is semi-annoying. See this thread that i posted on the 
forums for the actual picture

As the thread states, ive tried everything i can think of, even purging 
usplash but everytime i reinstall it, all i get is that gray image. i 
thought i would try for help here as well
