i've had hard times getting into bios on a lenovo, but from memory on my old
asus laptop, try F2, delete, and alt-delete after the brand screen disappears
after powering it on. someone (sorry, don't have a lot of time to dig)
can also refer to your manual and look for the key that gets to BIOS or "system
settings". once in there, check the "boot order" and enable your disk drive
first. you sound like you know your way around a computer, maybe you already
know how to get to it. alternatively, you can also look for the
"quick boot menu key" while you're in there because it could be set to
"disabled" instead of "enabled". usually
the key will be labeled near that section, probably in parentheses.
