Lucid release tour

Still on my way back home, but I wanted to send this out while I was
thinking about it. So, in one of the sessions I attended, a guy had
mentioned that a LoCo had done a country tour (one of the overseas
groups) for Ubuntu. I'm thinking, what about the Texas Team doing an
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS release tour? Might be nice since its an LTS
release. I'll try to write up my thoughts better sometime this
weekend, but here are some initial thoughts:
   - half-day informational sessions at Regional team locations,
hitting a different region each day (possibly two regions on some days)
   - OR no half-day sessions, only release parties
   - target university and college environments?
   - start at one point (such as Houston) and have the tour mapped out
in Google maps with the "popup" for each location show the date/time
   - have a Texas LoCo "set" of shared presentations that is given at
each location (basically, the same set of presentations at each
location, no matter who gives the presentation)

One of the ideas and goals is to increase membership. Anyway, it was
on my mind while I was driving, so I wanted to at least start a
discussion about it. Like I said, I'll write it out better later. I'm
on my phone and tired, so i may not be getting the idea across as well
as I mean to. I'll try to get a wiki page going or something.

Cheers,
Jeremy
