[UbuntuDallas] Video issues

Thank you for all the comments. I do not use Kubuntu, I just downloaded
Kaffeine to see if it would work because someone recommended it.
Keffeine looks like a good program, but it doesn't pick up my tv card.

I have spent endless hours on the forums trying to find a solution, but
I think Ubuntu really needs to do a better job of indexing the
information there. Many of the "solutions" posted there are very old and
maybe worked with earlier versions of Ubuntu, but they don't work
anymore. I also found a lot of dead links and code that seems very scary
to try (could really mess up your settings and your system).

On the forums I have added my request to someone else who had the same
tv card and was struggling to make it work. I hope someone can help.
