As mentioned during the meeting tonight, here is the first "official"
email from the Marketing folks that has links to some of the resources
we can use for our to-be-planned release parties.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Danny Piccirillo reporting from the Marketing Team and
we're hoping to have a super-successful Hardy Release Campaign with
your help. Please pass this information on to your teams.

This campaign will entail creating flyers for the release to submit to
us to host on our Materials page for everyone to take advantage of.
Along with doing what LoCo's do, we want lots of fliers to get out to
raise awareness about Ubuntu and free software right after the
release.

If possible, teams should take the press release that will be issued
by Canonical for the release and adapt it to make their own local
press releases.

We also would like to see all LoCo's engaging in organized activism
and for this i have created the LoCo Activism Guide (Please Digg it).
It includes tips, how to convert friends, flyering and postering,
lobbying government, educational institutions, organizations & clubs,
gaining industry support, press & media (which can be used to write
that local press release), and fundraising. Please contribute to this
guide especially if you have experience with any of the mentioned
topics.

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, March 12th @ 00:00 UTC so if you
have any ideas please add it to the agenda and show up for the
meeting.

Spread the word far and wide,
Thanks!

.Danny
