I'm pretty sure wubi lets you give it the path to an iso, so he doesn't need
to use daemon tools.
Robert, along with that iso you will want to download wubi, which is a
special installer for windows that lets you play with Ubuntu without
partitioning, or reformatting your hard drive. You can download the wubi
installer from http://wubi-installer.org/
