My only concern is whether Canonical would be pleased with ditching
their orange logo, which they seem rather proud of. Granted, they allow
other colors for things like Kubuntu, but I'm just not sure they
wouldn't see using green as sewing some confusion on the branding issue.
But it's their call, and I think we should just make sure we know how
they are disposed on the matter.
I'll have to admit I don't recall having seen the Oregon/heart logo, but
I don't get down to Eugene much. Perhaps it's more common there. Does it
have a green heart? If so it should work to put the orange logo inside
the heart. However, someone may own copyright on the original.
