Portland Wordpress User Group Meeting: I will be speaking on behalf of Ubuntu Oregon LoCo

Hi Everyone,

In an attempt to get more people using Ubuntu and to advocate for Free 
Open Source Software I have accepted an opportunity to speak on August 
22nd at Portland WordPress User Group's meeting at Nedspace. The event 
is open to anyone in Portland interested in Wordpress and I will be 
briefly highlighting Ubuntu Oregon's goals as a LoCo and explaining the 
O'Reilly UG Book Program and taking any questions about Ubuntu.

Obviously this is a networking opportunity for the LoCo so we can 
develop a partnership with other User Group's who might have users that 
use Ubuntu for personal or business purposes but if not it will also 
spread the word and maybe bring some new users to the community at large.

Notably, the Ubuntu repositories offer a couple Wordpress Gnome and KDE 
clients for desktop publishing and many VPS and Dedicated Server 
providers are now offering instant deployment of Ubuntu with LAMP+Wordpress.
