[Ubuntu-us-ok] mounting devices question

Hi fellow Okies,
I have been doing some research on various things to provide the ability
to automount devices from a minimal install.
usbmount works great for usb, however I am looking for a more
comprehensive utility.

I just thought I'd ask here to see if ya'll know of anything off the top
of your head that doesn't involve a hefty filemanager (I am using rox-filer)
