UbuntuOhio A reasonable request for Ebuntu.

Kendall,

I believe you've written before. The specs of your equipment are close
to mine and I have had no problems installing Ubuntu. The 2 LAN ports
you have built into your board are 10/100 and you also have a separate
gigabyte port. I am unaware that this would make any difference at all
in your install. Have you ever had any operating system installed on
this computer? I need some clarification on what you mean by login
screen and especially the "firewall" setup. You may have answered this
before but can you boot from the Live CD? I'm going to guess yes and
conclude that you are attempting an install from there. Is that correct?
