I have been having power management issues since I upgraded to Karmic as
well.  Dell 1330.  I am looking into making sure it is not my battery but I
suspect it isn't.  As soon as I gather some more information I will either
comment on yours or file a new one.  But yes my  battery displays one thing
the pop up box says something else and I have no way of knowing for sure
just how much battery life I have left..
