No.  The next LTS will be 10.04.

Personally, I usually re-install, usually because I feel like a)
testing the installer and b) futzing with my partition layout, but
when I have done upgrades they've gone off without a hitch.

Seems like a good candidate for a wiki page!  (No idea what to call
it, but you can come up with a fitting title.)
