I run ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS on all my servers now. Providing PXE network
installs, local apt mirror, nightly rsync backups,
email(pop-ssl/smtp-ssl/imap-ssl/webmail) for over 100 accounts as well
as DNS and hosting for several websites including a 10 year old forum
with over 100k members who are very active. All running fine. I was
testing out landscape for a while and that was very helpful for keeping
updates. My trial has now expired so I can't push the updates to all
machines at once, but I still get the notifications so I know when
updates are needed. The rest can be scripted easily.
