That is what I tend to see in my fellow FSF crowd as well Dan. But
people have been lead to believe that we are a bunch of radical crazies
who are confrontational. That belief has been spread even by other open
source and free software community members. It makes it very hard to do
advocacy when any one assumes what you are about to say will be crazy
and radical. hopefully your experiences and mine with them will help to
turn the tide on that belie.
