Welcome,
First: MAKE BACKUPS OF ALL IMPORTANT FILES! It can not be stessed how
important this is.
You can replace Vista with Ubuntu, acquire yourself a CD or USB install
and boot up the machine from it. From there you should be able to follow
the installer, when the option comes up about hard drives, you want to
'Use Entire Disk'.
If your unsure, we can help.
Best Regards, Martin Owens
