I've seen it before, but I thought it was over with.

Tell me, does sound work in flash as loaded by Gallion or Epiphany?

Also there is a setting you can change in firefox (text file config) to
tell it to route sound from oss to alsa. But it's all rather messy and
we haven't had to deal wit that for some time.
