Dates and Activity during the holidays

Dear Ubuntuos of Massachusetts,

This is a quick reminder to all that our activity at the South End
Technology Center will resume in January 2009.

This means that there will not be a Tuesday this year when I will be
holding a session.

Mel King and I had a chat about how best we could organise our
educational efforts.

I don't think we don't get enough people in that need our knowledge.
With Mel selectively choosing individuals that will receive computers
it's up to me to advertise and attract people who would benefit from
such an introduction.

With that effort I'd like your help. Firstly I'd like to hear on what
days you think holding this sort of activity would be most useful. Right
now the schedule has been for Tuesday evenings. But other times could be
organised if more people would be available for it.

I'd also like to hear from you if you have ideas about how you think we
can introduce people to ubuntu and teach them how to use it in these
classes.

One idea I had is to design a nice poster targeted to Libraries and
Schools which would be distributed in limited fashion.
