[ubuntu-us-in] Gutsy Release Party

Hi Folks,
 
My name is Floyd (rebos2day is my online handle).  I've been reading the Indy Ubuntu Loco emails for about two months now and thought I'd finaly introduce myself.  I live in downtown Indy and work as an A\V tech at IUPUI.  I'm a geek.  lol  go figure!  Since the release of Vista I've been researching open source software and linux distros.  I tired about 20 disros and finaly settled on Ubuntu.  I build my own computers and have one running WinXP and an older machine running Ubuntu 7.10 which I'm using to play music and dvds.  Hoping to tweak it so it is a media center.  A mix of Ubuntu and Ubuntu Sudio.  I've put together a collection of open source stand alone apps to use at work on clients laptops to help them with thier presentations.  I'm planning on being at the release party on Saturday, so see you all there!!!
