Hi guys...
Just throwing my 2 cents in here... Joomla is a good platform, but wanted to
bring up e107 (http://e107.org) that ,while doing some experimenting with
various systems a while back, became my favorite. The reason was that it's
plugins just worked with little hassle if any at all and it was smooth to
operate overall. Enjoyed it thoroughly, but it's not perfect like any system
and one thing that became tiring for me were the templates, but new ones
seem to be fairly easy to create / modify.
Wordpress is also a good one that, when one finds the right plugins, is
almost like having a regular CMS and it too seems to "just work". The
templates are good too and it's nice and simple for users to manage content,
etc. Enjoying that one now a lot.
Those rank as my "top" systems.
