Thanks Jon,

Yes I did. There's a way to set length there, but it's at 100% now, so 
there's no way to increase it.

I assumed since this happened while I was customizing windows that the 
panel is a window and could be customized the way any other window can, 
but apparently its not a window.

Haven't the faintest idea how I did this.
