hi denny,
thanks for asking. i've been following the field of technology use with
adult literacy students for the past 10 years or so and i haven't heard of any
linux-based solutions coming to market yet.
you might want to check on the nifl-tech email list, but i have a hunch
you'll hear the same. (national institute for literacy technology email list.)
that said, there's quite a lot happening in the free content areas and
literacy. here's a news article that was recently written about a public domain
web multimedia/literacy project i'm involved with.
