I agree--this is my next to last resort.  The other solutions I can
think of are rolling back the entire distribution, and maybe that
would be a good idea, or changing distributions to one that works.
I'd rather not do that.

I'm hopeful that Ibex will fix this.  If not, I dunno.  Maybe get
another printer, maybe try SuSE.  But we can't live without a working
printer.
