Hmmm.

Is this using the nVidia proprietary driver or the generic nv driver.

If the latter, I haven't a clue.

If it's the proprietary driver, I suggest you query about this on an
nVidia forum/list. Some of the older nVidia cards are only properly
supported by legacy nVidia drivers.
