[CoLoCo] Having troubles with Alice....

I've tried using openjdk-6-jre and it had the same problem, plus a few
others with the videos.  I'm pretty sure this all has to do with the color
depth, but when I tried changing to 16 in my xorg.config I made more
problems than solutions.  However, it looked great when I ended up running
in "low res" mode or whatever Ubuntu called the "safe" mode.

The strange thing about this is that it only affects some of the character
models in Alice.  The Snowman love movie looks perfect on mine, but the ice
scater on the lake movie looks terrible--except for the skater herself.
Also, I put a shot of a world where I put two characters into the
world--Evil Stepsister and Socrates.  If you look at the screenshot you can
see that Evil Stepsister looks fine, while Socrates looks like a low-res
ghost or something.... :-(
