Don't dump Wubi, dump Windows :-)!?

Just kidding, you may like to keep windows for some reason. Although, there can not be a "good" reason according to Jim. 

So far you got already some good advice in previous messages. In case you live in the Denver area and you have some time over the weekend there is an install fest this Saturday hosted by CLUE(Dave) at the DTC. I'm sure there are some people who can help you hands-on with your problem if your are not exactly sure what to do. If you're interested here is some info:

Whatever you do, back up your important files!! Things can go wrong. But I hope you can do one day a virgin install(Ubuntu only). :-)
