[CoLoCo] 8.10 Screen Resolution?

Michael, what are you talking about? Screen resolution can be changed
(system> preferences> screen resolution>) and still work, and have not been
removed. Maybe you are complaining about how the way x.org configures itself
now, or maybe even something that changed in wubi. I'm not sure, but in the
"normal" ubuntu install version not much has changed. Sure some graphics
cards are not recognized that well, but hey that's not the fault of the open
source community. They are doing their best.

@don, maybe trying an xubuntu live-cd (if there is one), or trying an older
live-cd to try and find one that recoginses the display correctly. Then once
you find one that is able to recognise it ok, then just copy the live-cd's
xorg .conf file over the installed one.
