Apple can't do anything about iPhone Jailbreaks except release new
firmware updates that break it. The DMCA has a provision which allows
Cell Phone unlocking. Speaking of the DMCA, that's one of the most
dangerous and damaging laws in existence. Ever since it came out I've
seen nothing but story after story after story of it being abuse by
corporations to stifle competitors or suppress free speech. When we get
a new Prez in the Oval Office I hope he or she (I might leave the US if
McCain is elected, he's another Bush) will challenge Congress to get rid
of it. I blame the DMCA for part of what's wrong with our economy.
Things didn't start to go bad until that laws was created. The War is
just making it worse, but its not the sole reason our economy is suffering.
